Meet Jackie


Jackie Wallin has been teaching Gentle Somatic Yoga and Hatha Yoga for 12 years and practicing yoga for 18 years. After experiencing corporate burn-out in 2012, Jackie found balance through a gentle, therapeutic yoga practice and was inspired to teach.

She has completed over 650 hours of teacher training with renowned teachers such as Donna Farhi, and has recently added Calligraphy Yoga, Barre and Sensual Embodied Dance to her repertoire. She teaches in-person, online and private classes that blend her favourite modalities to create safe, accessible and enjoyable experiences.

Jackie’s classes support people to slow down, move in ways that feel good, release tension, balance the nervous system and increase fluidity, strength and resilience.

Class Styles

Jackie's gift is supporting people to slow down, move in ways that feel good. Her classes help unwind tension, regulate nervous system and mood, increasing strength and resilience so you can find your flow.

Styles of classes available include:

  • Hatha Yoga – in person and online classes designed to develop balance, strength and flexibility whilst staying in connection with your breath and your body's ability.

  • Gentle Somatic Yoga – in person and online classes that are intentionally slow-paced with a focus on releasing tension, replenishing the nervous system and developing your connection to your core.

  • Barre – online classes combining cardio, ballet, yoga, pilates and functional movement to energise, strengthen and sculpt.

  • Progressive Yoga Courses – 9 Part in person or online Yoga courses. Existing courses include: The Supportive Psoas, Yoga Foundations, Balancing your Chakras and Calligraphy Yoga.

  • Sensual Embodied Dance – a unique offering for women to explore connection, expression and your body through the form of movement and dance.

  • Private Sessions – any of the above classes or series can be tailored to an individual program in a private setting.

  • Guest Facilitation - attendance at special events, retreats or large groups offering any of the above styles of movement practice delivered to suit your program and audience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bookings are required for all in‑person classes.

You can book online using a casual pass, a 5 or 10‑class pass, or by becoming a member for the best value. Membership also includes access to the On Demand Video Library, with hundreds of short and long‑form classes to enjoy whenever it suits you.

If you prefer to pay in cash, that’s absolutely fine — just send a quick text or call beforehand so I can set up a mat for you and know you’re joining us.

If you're keen to become a Soulful Moves member, you’re welcome to begin with a FREE 7‑day trial. Explore the library, try different styles and choose the membership that feels like the right fit for your body, your rhythm and your wellbeing.

You can purchase casual, 5‑class, or 10‑class passes for in‑person Hatha or Gentle Somatic Yoga classes. These passes are for studio classes only and don’t include access to online content.

If you’re looking for online practice, hybrid options, or a more structured path, our memberships offer a wider range of support. The On Demand Video Library overview gives you a guided look at everything included—short sessions, longer immersive classes, progressive programs, and flexible ways to blend in‑person and online practice. You’ll also see how to navigate the library with ease and which membership best aligns with your lifestyle and goals.

Below is a clear breakdown of each membership option:

Core Membership

Designed for steady, everyday practice. You’ll have access to a library of 5–45 minute classes—short, grounding sessions that help you reset, release tension and weave movement into your day with ease.

Plus & Premium Membership

Includes everything in the Core Membership, plus added flexibility. You’ll receive 5 or 10 credits for extended classes (60–120 mins), including all live recorded sessions. These credits can also be used for in‑person classes, giving you the freedom to practice online or join the studio whenever it suits you.

All Access Membership

Our most comprehensive option. You’ll receive everything above, plus full access to all progressive yoga series. Each series includes 9 self‑paced modules with intentions, themed guidance and rich resources to help you strengthen, soften, regulate your nervous system, and deepen your practice.

You’re welcome to begin with a FREE 7‑day trial. Explore the library, try different styles, and choose the membership that feels like the right fit for your body, your rhythm, and your wellbeing.

If you are coming injury free and pain free, then it is not necessary to book a private, however you are most welcome to do so if it will help build your confidence up and so you know what to expect from a group class. This could be done in person or online.

If you are working with an injury or condition, then I would suggest an Info Call to discuss which class would be suitable for you and or a private session so we can make the best recommendation on moving forward onto more private sessions or group classes.
