Discover the power of yoga for hormonal balance! Join our 9-week series where we dive into gland-specific practices, learn about symptoms of hormonal imbalance and practice poses tailored to support your endocrine system. Whether you’re dealing with fatigue, PMS or stress, yoga can help.
Each week we will cover the following themes to support the health and harmony of your hormones and optimise wellbeing through gentle and slow yoga practices., meditation and breath techniques.


Introduction to the Endocrine System

  • Understand the role of various glands: hypothalamus, pineal gland, pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, thymus, adrenal glands, pancreas, testes (in males), and ovaries/placenta (in females).
  • Learn to recognise symptoms of hormonal imbalance.

Pineal Gland Activation

  • Explore practices specifically targeting the pineal gland.
  • Enhance circadian rhythms and melatonin production.

Pituitary Gland Harmony

  • Focus on poses that support the pituitary gland.
  • Regulate hormones related to growth, stress and reproductive function.

Thyroid and Metabolism

  • Continue with poses that support thyroid function.
  • Address symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, and mood swings.

Immune System and Thymus Vitality

  • Strengthen the immune system through yoga.
  • Boost thymus function and overall vitality.

Adrenal Health

  • Practice stress-reducing poses to support adrenal glands.
  • Manage cortisol levels and enhance overall well-being.

Pancreas Balance

  • Explore poses that benefit the pancreas.
  • Support insulin production and blood sugar regulation.

Reproductive System Nourishment

  • Dive into poses that benefit the reproductive organs.
  • Address PMS, fertility issues and libido.

Parasympathetic Activation & Integration

  • Explore yoga practices that activate the parasympathetic nervous system.
  • Integrate all aspects learned throughout the series.

Practices will include slow gentle hatha yoga, restorative yoga poses, fluid movement and breathwork. Practices are always adaptable and you are always encouraged to move at your own pace.

TIME & LOCATION: Monday evenings from 5.30-7.30pm at Brunswick Valley Community Centre, South Beach Road, Brunswick Heads (opposite the surf club). Directions and details of the class will be emailed to you upon registering for the class.


PRICING: The exchange for this series is $299 and includes 9 x 2 hour weekly classes plus bonus materials to take home with you. This series is also available privately in person or online. For more information schedule a free Info Call or book the Premium package.

HOW TO PAY & BOOK:

  4. You’ll receive a confirmation email with details of the class and you can manage your registration online from this confirmation email.
  5. You’ll also get a reminder email one day prior to class.

CANCELLATIONS: Refunds are available up to 3 days prior to the series commencing. Once the series commences there are no refunds however you can reschedule if there are extenuating circumstances.

If class needs to be cancelled at short notice all registrants will receive an email or text message when this happens and class will be rescheduled. Cancelling is rare, but if it happens it's likely due to illness.

ABOUT JACKIE WALLIN: Jackie has been teaching Gentle Somatic Yoga and Hatha Yoga for 10 years and practicing yoga for 16 years. After experiencing corporate burn-out in 2012, Jackie found balance through a gentle, therapeutic yoga practice and was inspired to teach. She has completed over 650 hours of teacher training with renowned teachers such as Donna Farhi, and has recently added Calligraphy Yoga, Barre and Embodied Dance. She teaches in-person, online and private classes that blend her favourite modalities to create safe, accessible and enjoyable experiences. Jackie’s classes support people to slow down, move in ways that feel good, release tension, balance the nervous system and increase fluidity, strength and resilience.
