Women's Dance Circles
Woman, in circle, in dance, is one of the oldest forms of gathering.
We gather together to share our life stories, uncover new truths, dance our bodies towards freedom, and to learn from each others beautiful wisdom.
Wisdom of the body, mind, emotions and spirit.
As we come together we support each other in exploring our greatest potential, our highest selves, our greatest beauty as women and human beings.
We then take this out into the world, as we support each other, to dance life and live it to its fullest.
Women's Dance Circle
Summer Outdoor Gathering
We will dance with the earth, to feel our intimate connection.
We will move our bodies, to hear and tap into our own natural rhythms.
We gather in circle knowing that women, all over the world,
gather in circle to come home.
And so, we follow our nature and come home to dance ourselves in, through and with our heart, feet, breath & bones.
To come home, to that beautiful place of connection.
Date: Tuesday, July 17
Time: 6:00pm - 9-ish
Place: Dara Burrow's land - a beautiful tree surrounded site in the county

In this series of gatherings we will begin with burning questions that seem to be unanswered in your life. Questions about the universe, relationships, yourself, a divine power, anything of importance to you. We will look at how some of these Questions, when left unanswered, can create lack of meaning in our lives, perhaps leave us unsettled, or create stress around our place in the world.
Through a process of discovery we will begin to uncover simple truths, establish clear paths of wholeness, and find our place of comfort around the unanswerable. Included in the path of Discovery our three main guides will be Mystery (embodied in the dance), Maps (sharing our wisdom with eachother), Mandalas (a tool for outward manifestation of your personal truth and tool for future inspiration).
The Art of Being Alive
facilitated by Jenny Macke
8 weeks of gathering, sharing and dancing in circle
As women, we have the possibility of giving life...
Yes, to a child but also to a project, to art, to our work, to the world
and to give life to Life!
We can get out of sync though and life can drag at times...
We somehow miss out on that hum of life energy.
Dance, as a practice, can help us to tap into that life energy.
Our vital and ever-present life force.
This life force that helps give life meaning and allows us to feel in sync with ourselves and the world around us.....
With our eyes wide open and hearts thumping!
So come join this group of women as thump, whoop, slide and wiggle.
Sometimes smoothly and sometimes wildly.
And always seeking out OUR authentic dance, that gives ourselves and each other that boost we need to create our true art,
The art of being alive.
General Format: We will work with the practice of sacred, ecstatic and exploratory dance. Each circle gathering will start with a body warm-up and then we will work with a theme and dance to music in an arc or a wave. Time will also be spent in activities to deepen and integrate your experience through creativity and community. This may include working with altars, meditation, art work, journaling, circle time, e-mail connection and more.
"Emptying Out" - A WOMEN'S
DANCE CIRCLE
facilitated by Jenny Macke
Life can be sticky.
We can take on responsibilities and expectations beyond our capacity...
from our friends, our families, our work and society.
The body carries this excess stickiness as stress, tension or feelings of disatisfaction.
Ultimately there is a numbing out of our own Being.
It can be subtle or BIG and it almost can't be helped.
Society bombards us with media, expectations of "success" and the reality of earning an income.
We get overloaded by outside stimulation and we struggle to feel ourselves or a connection to our Spirits.
In this circle, through the Dance of our bodies.....
We consciously empty out frustration, demands, and the impact of busy lives
and we see where we are.
We seek
clarity,
deep peace and
a celebration of life!
Movement can work magic. So come and empty out, then nourish your soul
and revitalize your body in this dance circle led by Jenny Macke
Format: We will work with dance as practice, similar to meditation.
Each circle gathering will start with a body warm-up then we will work
with a theme and dance an arc or wave. No prior movement experience
necessary. Time will also be spent in activities to deepen and
integrate your experience through creativity and community. This may
include working with altars, meditation, art work, journaling, circle
time, e-mail connection and more.
Exploring the landscapes of self - inside and out with Jenny Macke
A Women's Dance Circle
with Jenny Macke
Just as we explore the wilderness in nature,
we have an opportunity to explore the vast wilderness of "self".
This women's dance circle will look to "the dance" to be our guide through this wilderness.
Come join other women on the journey to discover the undiscovered and to fully express yourself in a safe, non-judgmental and nurturing place of women.
What magic is there to found in this exploration?
Jenny Macke - impassioned by dance, the earth and our interconnection to all - will lay out a map of themes in which to explore self.
But where the trail leads is an adventure still to be experienced.
Come Explore!
